From Sophie and her dear friend Samantha

My toadie didn't make it home! It jumped off safely into the weeds while Shane was in traffic. I'm just glad it's okay!
I have my friend over, Samantha, and we are going to play cards with mommmy. She got to ride the bus home with me. Lexi and Alex are still sleeping! We are all going to Stacy's to play in a little while. Grandma Dee knows we're on the computer and keeps sending us "winks" right now, and it's really funny! We colored a lot at school, and I ate a big lunch! I had a peanut butter sandwich, carrots, banana, bread, cheese, and chocolate milk. Samantha had tomato soup with crackers and croutons, grapes, and pink milk. Her mommy sent her lunch with her:) I ate my lunch all gone! Sam didn't eat all hers though.
Last night I read my library book with mommy, and I love library day! It's every Tuesday. I also go to computer lab on Tuesdays. We go on a computer and we play games. We played on the playground together today! We're sad because they took out some of the monkey bars, the "slider", and closed down the chains we step on because one broke. Two people got hurt on the monkey bars, so that's why they took them down.

I really like my teacher! I have new friends and couple old ones in class this year. I have fun on the playground, but I wish we had play time like last year in Kindergarten inside. It's all just learning now,hummmmm. I'm learning a lot about math this week! Also how to count money:) The theme for this week is "respect and responsibility". I really like it! I am going to "Burger King Night" tonight with Mommy, Shane, Lexi, and Alex, for my school. A lot of my classmates and other grades are going too. We go to support my school - BK donates profits to our school. I can't wait!
Shane has a toadie on his windshield while he is driving, and I'm hoping it has a safe trip so I can keep it! Shane keeps calling to update us:) He's protecting it while he is stuck in traffic.
